Who is behind Octeasy

Octeasy is designed, sold and invoiced by Studjoow, the graphic design studio of John Houzi. The widget started out on websites about disability at work, where every visitor had to be able to read comfortably.

Where the widget comes from

Studjoow builds the websites of Tous Concernés, the disability-at-work awareness initiative run by CR2E, in France. Readers of these sites do not all have the same needs: some are dyslexic, others have low vision, others are simply tired by an overly bright screen. The widget was first made for them, then it became a product in its own right.

To be decided before accounts open. Mention of CR2E and Tous Concernés: to be approved by them before going live.

What guides us

  • Comfort, not a promise about standards. Octeasy helps people read; it does not make a site meet accessibility standards such as WCAG or the French RGAA, and it does not replace an audit. Read the limits.
  • Visitors always get everything. Even on the free plan, every visitor has all the reading comfort settings.
  • Nothing about visitors. No cookies, no trackers, and read-aloud uses the voices installed on the device.
  • Published prices. In euros excluding VAT, per month, on the Pricing page.

The octopus has eight arms, like the widget's eight profiles. To write to us: hello@studjoow.com, or the contact page. Full publisher details: legal notice.
